Process Control and Instrumentation Projects

Some of the SCADA system we use are, but not limited to: WonderWare, ICONICS, VTScada, RSView, Open Enterprise, Cimplicity, Ovation, GraphWorX, LabView, Schneider Electric and Maple Systems. 

We have experience in hardware (PLC) like but not limited to: Rockwell (Allen-Bradley), Schneider (Modicon), Siemens, Emerson, Automation Direct, Phoenix, GE, etc.

1. BlG CYPRESS WATER TREATMENT PLANT PLC and HMI PROGRAMMING

Project Description

  • Program the SCADA PLC's and HMI's using the STOF standard objects

 

The scope of Services Provided

  • Field instrumentation, device, and PLC I/O mapping verification. Update existing P&ID drawings to include newly installed equipment and new SCADA network topology. Remove no longer existing objects.
    Develop control narrative consistent with the model control strategies included in the SCADA Master Plan.
    Create new PLC program for the MCP PLC utilizing STOF Standard Objects developed in RSLogix 5000.
    Create new HMI application to replace the existing application using STOF Standard Objects developed in Wonderware System Platform 2014 R2.
    Coordination with facility Operations and Maintenance staff for panel‐by‐pane scheduled phaseover,
    Start‐up, review, acceptance test, and checkout.
    Training for operations, maintenance, and management personnel on the PLC and HMI systems configured, installed, programmed, or otherwise affected by this project.

 2. BRIGHTON WATER TREATMENT PLANT PLC and HMI PROGRAMMING

Project Description

  • Program the SCADA PLC's and HMI's using the STOF standard objects

 

The scope of Services Provided

3. NORTH DISTRICT WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT NEW PUMPS FOR EXISTING DEEP INJECTION WELL PUMPING STATION CONTRACT S-877 CD Projects 3.07a

Project Description

  • This project includes the installation of six new pumps and 1,250 Hp motors at the DIW Pump Station, new flow control valves at the pump station and injection wells, and associated piping and appurtenances. Installation of six (6) new vertical turbine pumps and 1,250 Hp motors in existing, vacant pump bays; Connection of six (6) new 1,250 Hp motors to existing variable frequency drives. Installation of six (6) new control valves and electro-hydraulic actuators on Injection Well Pumps 1 through 6. Installation of four (4) flow control valves and electric actuators on Injection Wells 1 through 4. System Integration.

 

The scope of Services Provided

  • I&C Consulting Engineers Corp. was responsible for system integration portion (PLC/SCADA Displays programming,
    startup and Operators training).

 4. CENTRAL DISTRICT WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT INDUSTRIAL INJECTION WELL SURFACE FACILITIES CONTRACT NO. S-870

Project Description

  • Furnishing all materials, labor and equipment necessary to construct an Industrial Injection Well Pump Station, equip two existing industrial injection wells with wellhead piping, equip a monitoring well with wellhead piping, The proposed pump  station will have a pump room that will house four (4) 900 HP medium voltage (4160 volt) motors to existing variable frequency drives. Installation of six (6) new control valves and vertical turbine pumps and associated piping, valves, and controls.

 

The scope of Services Provided

  • I&C Consulting Engineers Corp. was responsible for panels Design, panel submittal, and instrumentation submittals.

5. SOUTH DISTRICT WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT CO-GENERATION COMMUNICATION IMPROVEMENT

  • Furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to improve the existing communication with 4 Bio-Gas Generators of 1.2MW

 

 

The scope of Services Provided

  • I&C Consulting Engineers Corp. was responsible for PLC programming, network analysis, startup, and testing.

6. DESIGN SCADA AND PLC CONTROL SYSTEM FOR THE MICCOSUKEE TRIBE OF FLORIDA

 Location: The Miccosukee Tribe of Florida

Project Description

  • Design and implement a new SCADA system.

 

 

The scope of Services Provided

  • Redesign the Control /Monitoring System using the resources of the existing PLC’s in each of three locations. Each location can be controlled and monitored using the current PLC and HMI Screen. Also, each location, will be controlled and monitored from the current WTP HMI Screen.

      Provide and Install a new SCADA Sofware. Design and programming all the HMI screens.

      Redesign the existing OIT Screens.

       All electrical motors and generators will have a runtime accumulation programmed on the PLC it’s running it.
