​​  1. METROMOVER SCADA NETWORK, WIRELESS NETWORK AND COMMUNICATIONS UPGRADE CICC 7360 PLAN (MIAMI-DADE)

Location: Metromover System, Miami Dade

.Project Description

  • Panel and Feeder design.

  • Drawings signed and sealed for permit.

  • Calculation for choosing Power Over Ethernet (POE) injectors.

  • Choosing Voice Switches and Emergency Phones located on the second floor of each Metromover Station.

  • Provide equipment complying with the project specification.

 

Technical Duties Performed

  • Electric load calculation for equipment located on the second floor of each station

  • Panel design for wireless network for Metromover stations.

  • Piping schedule design complying with NEC.

  • Circuit breaker panel load calculation. 

  • Topology design of fiber optic network for High-Cycle track switches control cabinets.

  • Choosing the right equipment needed for network connectivity (Router, Switches, Voice Switches, Wireless AP, IP Phones and Emergency Phones).

  • Design VoIP system for the emergency phone at platform and maintenance building.

  • Integrate new voice switching device to the existing PBX system.

  • Doing load calculation to properly size the UPS system.

  • Performed required RSSI test in conjunction with Miami Dade Transit IT department.

  • Generate the required documentation and drawings for approval.

  • Generate final as-built documentation for project record.

​​  2. DESIGN CRITERIA FOR VIDEO SECURITY SYSTEM GENERAL NOTES AND SPECIFICATIONS (BIG CYPRESS WATER TREATMENT PLANT – SEMINOLE COUNTY)

Location: Seminole Tribe of Florida (STOF), BlG CYPRESS WATER TREATMENT

.Project Description

  • Design Video Surveillance System

  • Generate technical documentation.

  • Provide specifications and drawings.

  • This design was used by The Seminole Tribe of Florida in the bidding process for the implementation of the system

 

Technical Duties Performed

  • Generate documentation and drawings for the project bidding process

  • Participating in the RFI/Q&A process.

  • Electric load calculation for equipment located at each location.

  • Circuit breaker panel load calculation.

  • Panel design for equipment within this project.

  • Piping schedule design complying with NEC.

  • Design lightning protection system for field panels.

  • Pole installation specification and wind load calculation.

  • Topology design for fiber optic network to comply with the bandwidth needed.

  • Choosing the right equipment needed for network connectivity (Switches, Copper to Fiber converter, Video engines, Power Supplies, Cameras, etc.)

  • Generate final as-built documentation for project record.
